Imaginative thinking plays a critical role in education, particularly in environments like Ponderosa Kids Casa Classroom where exploration and inquiry are encouraged. This approach stimulates children to express their thoughts creatively, fostering not only self-confidence but also a deeper connection to the learning material. Through activities that promote imaginative engagement, students learn to approach challenges with an open mind, developing skills that are vital for both personal and academic growth.

  • We value not only academic growth, but also social development, emotional wellbeing, and the confidence that comes from feeling truly seen and supported.

With a play-based, mainstream curriculum that caters to all learning styles, we empower every child to thrive at their own pace and in their own way.

  • Core Montessori elements are the foundation of the Ponderosa Kids Montessori Preschool Curriculum. Our educators are trained in the Montessori method, and our classroom has a full set of Montessori materials.

The Montessori approach allows every child to develop naturally — to learn and grow at their own pace. Our Curriculum will also borrow from other pedagogies to learn, invent, and improve our ability to support every child’s development.

In our classrooms, children follow their interests and engage in hands-on activities using Montessori materials designed to meet each child’s developmental needs using scientific methods.

This enhances a child’s physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and cultural development.

  • Our Curriculum is designed around four key areas: Child Centered, Culturally Responsive, Standards-Based, and Montessori-Inspired.

These four areas drive our decisions on what is taught in our classrooms.

Our Curriculum meets the child where they are and prioritizes all areas of child development.

Our Curriculum also encourages independence, collaboration, and joy in learning.

  • Our curriculum prospectus overview is available on request via email. We invite you to discover it out and book a tour of our incredible school.
